Three bad news that will hit the wallet of all Russians: on January 1, three unpleasant laws for citizens will start to work.
There is very little time before the New Year, and traditionally from January the most important laws come into force. Unfortunately, they are not always positive for ordinary Russians. Nevertheless, it is necessary to know about them. Of course there are useful innovations, but today we wanted to focus on the laws that will directly affect the wallets of Russians.
Getting state services
From January 1, 2023 some state duties will increase. First, the 30% discount for state fees paid on the Gosuslugi website will expire. This discount has been in effect for quite a long time and helped save a lot of money. Thanks to this, many people began to use the service.
I do not quite understand this decision, because when you apply via the portal the costs are noticeably lower than when you apply in person. It would be more correct to keep this discount. What do you think?
Secondly, drivers who decide to make changes to the construction of their car will have to pay almost twice as much (1.5 thousand instead of 800 rubles). This is necessary to get the certificate, which gives the right to continue to operate the vehicle. Getting a permit to transport dangerous goods will also become more expensive. The state fee will increase to 1.5 thousand rubles.
New tariffs
From next year, tenants will have to pay more for major repairs, as well as for the maintenance and repair of residential premises. The way the rates will grow is decided in the region.
It is worth recalling that utilities have already risen by 9% in December this year.
On January 1, toll roads will become more expensive. The growth of 1 km will amount to about 8 rubles. Given the fact that there are more and more toll roads, the drivers are unlikely to be happy with this change, as part of freight transport is also carried out on toll roads.
The increase will also affect long-distance trains. For a ticket to a common or second-class carriage will have to spend 8% more. Given that most passengers use second-class carriages, the change is unpleasant.
A hidden price increase
Some excise taxes will increase on January 1. This applies primarily to gasoline and diesel fuel. Excise duty per ton of gasoline will amount to 14,345 rubles, and per ton of diesel - just under 10,000 rubles. Undoubtedly, it will affect the cost of gasoline in Russia. Accordingly, it will contribute to overall inflation, because the rise in gasoline prices provokes the growth of everything else.
Buying cars will also become more expensive because of the increase in excise taxes on cars.
Excise taxes on tobacco products will increase (4% increase), and later new excise taxes on sweet drinks (juices, sodas, etc.) will be introduced, the excise tax from 1 liter will be 7 rubles.
And what do you think, is not much of an increase given the difficult year? Tell us about it in the comments.
