Montessori
Montessori pedagogy, also the Montessori system or the Montessori method, is a pedagogical system proposed in the first half of the 20th century by the Italian teacher and physician Maria Montessori. The Montessori system is based on the ideas of free education and is in line with humanistic pedagogy, an important place is given to sensory education (development of the senses) through didactic classes and a specially organized environmentenvironment.
The absorbing mind (in the terminology of Montessori pedagogy) is the ability of children to effortlessly absorb their immediate environment: culture, language, habits, customs, attitudes. Montessori explains this phenomenon, discovered in the course of numerous observations, by a special type of psyche and mentality inherent in a child.
Adults acquire knowledge through conscious learning, while the child unconsciously absorbs knowledge along with impressions from the environment. This type of perception is typical for a child up to a certain age, from the point of view of Montessori, up to six years.
