"First, let's talk about the benefits - these are entirely its components, because it contains quite a lot of vitamins, microelements, which, in fact, make it a valuable product. Insoluble dietary fiber, which is part of it, stimulates intestinal peristalsis. This is especially useful for children, the elderly for regular bowel cleansing. Plus, it promotes the reproduction of beneficial microorganisms that inhabit our intestines," Nikolaeva noted.
According to the doctor, the acids contained in buckwheat, in combination with the microelements it contains, can help improve bile formation and the production of pancreatic juice by the pancreas.
However, people with digestive problems or chronic diseases in the acute stage should be careful. For such people, overeating buckwheat in the evening can provoke spasms, increased gas formation, bloating, which will not contribute to good sleep.
At the same time, there are no strict contraindications to the use of buckwheat, but people with certain categories of diseases, such as allergies, gastrointestinal problems, should be careful with it, Nikolaeva concluded.
