PC with GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card fails to deliver stable 60 fps in Dead Space remake at 4K and "ultra" settings

DSOGaming reviewers shared the results of testing the Dead Space remake on a PC with a GeForce RTX 4090 video card.

The experiment showed that the RTX 4090 did not provide a stable 60 fps in the Dead Space remake at native 4K resolution and the highest possible settings. With these parameters, the game experiences frame rate drops of up to 50 fps depending on the scene.

The biggest drop in framerate was during the opening scene on the ship. During gameplay, the frame rate stayed above 60 fps most of the time, but dropped during fast-paced scenes when enemies or resource-intensive effects like steam or fire appeared on the screen.

During the game at these graphics settings, the load on the GeForce RTX 4090 video card was 98-99%.
