In the footsteps of the forum of future technologies: what's up with the Russian iPhone?
Well, no one needs to talk about what kind of phones were once created in Skolkovo and for what money? This story has long become a meme, and it hardly needs an explanation, because the years go by, something develops somewhere, and even future technology forums are held, but things are still there ...
For those who missed this significant event, the Future Technologies Forum 2023 was held in the capital from July 9 to 14 under the title “Computing and Communication. Quantum world. And, of course, that any person from the world of events or the near-marketing sphere has already admired his organization and the amount of money that would be required for this story. The only question is that the state was the customer here, and its budget is not limited in such cases. And the contractor-organizer was clearly not alone there.

But if about the household level, which, unfortunately, today we have closed for the still friendly China, then tears really well up in our eyes.
Neither domestic microprocessors, nor a Russian smartphone or laptop that is competitive in the market - so far, apparently, there is no need to wait. And this despite the fact that "somewhere in the suburbs" slowly but surely our native processor Elbrus is dying, the architecture of which served as the basis for the Pentium in the distant 90s. And why not send a small part of the Skolkovo budget there? They have enough...
